Ah, the randomness of the internet! This post on Polyvore showed up on my Google search for Jane Quiet. No idea who this user is or what prompted them to choose Jane, but it’s kind of cool (especially the raven ring!), though Jane would never wear those shoes. You can’t chase demons in those heels.

Ah, that would be me, the guilty party. I forget how I came across Jane Quiet..oh yes, ok I do remember. I was doing an internet search for Dennis Wheatley…I used to work for a rare occult books dealer (my step father) and became familiar with a few of Wheatley's titles. For some reason ol' Wheatley was in my head the other day and in searching out bits if info on him I came across Jane referred to as a "Denise Wheatley", and inspiration struck in the form of raven rings and velvet Yves Saint Laurent heels and Tom Ford Noir et Noir perfume! I am glad for the serendipitous find though, I think Jane Quiet's "Magic, mayhem, and mysteries" sounds like an excellent holiday gift to myself 🙂
Way cool, ghoulnextdoor! I love the serendipity of the internet. I believe you posted the collection on my birthday, too. Serendipitous indeed. If you like Wheatley, you might well like JQ. There's a lot of inspiration from Algernon Blackwood, of course, too. There's my interest in magic, particularly medieval magic — and Elena's fabulous art OF COURSE.I will say it again: I love the internet!
Must. Have. Raven. Ring!Already have the fab JQ comic….I love my brilliant friends!
