I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be talking about my translation The Art of Drawing Cards and The Tarot at the TABI Midwinter Conference 24-5 January. I’m just one of a dozen speakers that weekend so what a great opportunity for TABI members.
What’s TABI? The Tarot Association of British and International members. While it began in Britain back in 2001, the group quickly grew to take in readers, artists, and scholars from around the world. In addition to this free members-only online conference there are discussion groups, online meetings and so much more–including a free reading for joining. Whether you’re new to cartomancy or a seasoned expert, there’s a great community to be found.
And for only £20 per year, it’s really a bargain. The conference alone is worth more than that! Unlike some tarot associations, it’s not centered on one individual or selling certificates or courses. It’s by enthusiasts for enthusiasts (and a non-profit).
You’ll find groups for decks like the Tarot de Marseille and Thoth, as well as those focused on astrology and Kabbalah as they inform tarot. Check it out and see for yourself.
See you in January!
