Leonor Fini at the Kasmin Gallery

Fabulous jaunt to the city with art partner in crime, Stephanie, to see the Fini works at the Kasmin Gallery and enjoy a nice long chat over a fab lunch at the Mermaid Café and a little Chelsea thrifting. Here’s the list of all the works on display. It was verrrrrry cold so not a…

Niki de Saint Phalle @ MoMA PS1

I headed down to the city to meet up with gal pal/fellow art crime shenanigator Stephanie QoE to catch the Niki de Saint Phalle exhibit at MoMA PS1, which I’d never been to before. Into the wilds of Queens we voyaged to Long Island City. I thought the exhibit would be fun, but I was…

NYC, QoE, Hilma & Me

Part one of photos from the latest shenanigans in the city that never sleeps featuring fab gal pal the QoE, swanky lunch at the Campbell, and Hilma af Klint at the Guggenheim. Part two will be the further shenanigans at the Leonor Fini exhibit! If you can get to NYC at all, you must see…

NYC, QoE and Me

Shenanigans in the city with gal pal Stephanie today. Hope to manage a few things like the Morgan medieval monsters exhibit. If you’re about give us a shout.

In Search of Medusa

Spring break has mostly been work but I did manage to make another escape to spend the day with the fabulous Stephanie down in the city. Just before another collaboration escapes on Monday, Respectable Horror, which I edited and she supplied the wonderful cover art featuring cover model Poppy. She’s not just skin and bones…

Downtown Boys, Dangbats and More

The weekend was a little too Edna, but I had a grand time running off to Connecticut to see the Fabulous QoE (and chill at the Jezebel Lounge), Marko (and distract him during his radio show), fellow SpeakEasy dame Lys Guillorn as half of the Dangbats and the amazing Downtown Boys. See some awesome photos…

In New York City

I can’t vouch for the lord‘s whereabouts but this afternoon I head down to the city for the Occult Humanities conference at NYU, which includes a visit to the lovely Katja so that’s a definite plus. I’m sure I will have stories and photos to share upon my return, though be warned that things continue…
