New Video: The Rook

See what happens when I have a little extra time? I get colorful. Here’s ‘The Rook’ from Unquiet Dreams. I wrote it the morning of the first day of Alt.Fiction to read at the open mic that day.
I recorded this for a future BroadPod (like the December one I’m in, too), but then had the idea to add some photos from the places where the story is set. So I made a video of the assembly of photos from Bohermore Cemetery in Galway, as well as Eyre Square and then around to the Long Walk and the Claddagh.
For those interested in the technical side: recorded with GarageBand, music created in Bloom, photos from my HTC phone, assembled in iMovie. The original audio is also on Soundcloud.
After all the stress of the semester and travel back and forth between my residences, it’s nice to stay in one place and just relax. More writing, of course (I’m always writing!) but perhaps a couple other fun projects like this.
