I’ll be at Universal Pathways (AKA Brigadoon) to bring you October vibes with an immersive sound experience. This is one of my new endeavours and it’s about time I put the training and certificates to work. I will use Mary’s fantastic collection of crystal bowls, but I’ll be bringing a few of my own instruments as well — including the ‘secret weapon’ that helps create a wonderful ambience for some truly deep listening.
Deep Listening is listening in every possible way to everything possible to hear no matter what you are doing. Such intense listening includes the sounds of daily life, of nature, or one’s own thoughts as well as musical sounds. Deep Listening represents a heightened state of awareness and connects to all that there is. As a composer I make my music through Deep Listening.
