ART OPENING!

CREATE recently had a call for art that embodied the theme JOY, and I am happy to say my mask entitled ‘Meditation’ is going to be included in the show. There’s an opening event on November 19th. Hopefully a few people can be there.

My mask is about the idea of a short cut to the joy of meditation: instead of all that hard work and practice, what if you could just put on a mask and reach that bliss? Ha! (It’s a bit darker than this but I took a hasty photo before dropping it off as I realised I only had in-progress shots). I may also have used it during our Archive 81 roundtable at MAPACA2022…
