I bestirred myself to actually leave the house and have a wander in town despite the fact that it was hot and there is a bus driver strike on (also fire fighters). As always the Howff proved a cool respite from the heat and a peaceful place to sit for a while and just be. I did see a rabbit but it ran off before I could snap a photo (found its home though) and I saw a crow attack a pigeon (well done). After that I took a stack of books to Oxfam and only came away with one new one so I headed over to the DCA to see the new exhibits but that will be another post…
