Forecast: Opening Day!

Today’s the day! Forecast opens at the Gallery Upstairs at The Institute Library. reception from 5-7pm. Fabulous art about divination and magic. Alas, I will not be able to be there due to the latest arctic blast, illness, and various Belle Ombre misfortunes (if you’re thinking about buying a 200+ year old house, consider carefully [maniacal laughter]). I hear some of my SpeakEasy Dames will also be unable to attend so maybe we will plan a special event ourselves and celebrate that way. After all I need to also visit the Yale Center for British Art and the Beinecke, too, so I must make a jaunt. In the meantime, I dream of hot water and a shower, which I hope to enjoy in the coming days. At least we do have heat.

HOWEVER!!

You will not want to miss the closing event. The exhibition runs through March and at the end I will be giving a talk on the history of divination with special highlighting of the Middle Ages of course! I am looking forward to that and hope to see lots of folks there. It will be magic!
