Picturesque Berlin

So little time; so much to do! And so many adventures not yet shared. Unable to choose which exhibit to showcase next, instead I offer some random beauty from my wanderings in Berlin for Occulture. I stayed in a hotel near Berlin Alexanderplatz on the advice of a friend and it was a great central location to go everywhere. And the iconic platz and tower daily reminded me of my good fortune in being able to travel.

A short tram ride away I visited the Kathë Kollwitz statue which I found very moving. She overlooks a play ground and a friendly crow followed me around as I took some pictures.

Alexanderplatz is a transport hub, of course, but it’s also become an art hub where street artists are now featured in this plein air gallery. My last day was very dreich, cold and windy, but I braved the elements to get a few last shots. And a faceful of spray from the Neptune Fountain.
